The Dairy is a cosy, modern cottage set within the peaceful grounds of Metlands Farm on the outskirts of Bridlington. With countryside views, a warm interior, and your own private hot tub, it’s a genuine retreat for two, with one well-behaved dog very welcome to join you.

What’s Included

Inside, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove keep things comfortable whatever the season. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, slow cooker, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, and there’s fast WiFi, a 48″ TV, and a collection of books and games for evenings in.

The shower room has a cubicle shower, toilet, and heated towel rail.

Outside, the private patio has a wood-fired hot tub, BBQ, and seating, the perfect spot to relax after a day on the coast. There’s also an electric car charging point on site, a shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and freezer, a rotating washing line, and a shared bike store.

Location & local area

Metlands Farm sits just outside Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast, with RSPB Bempton Cliffs just a short walk away, home to puffins, gannets, and kittiwakes between spring and late summer.

Bridlington’s beaches and harbour are a short drive away, with Flamborough Head, Filey, and Scarborough all easily reachable for days out along the coast.

Directions:

On the A165 Scarborough to Bridlington road at the Dotterel roundabout take the road leading to Bempton. Follow this road through the villages of Buckton and Bempton.  On leaving the village of Bempton after approximately a mile take the left hand turn signposted Wandale Farm. Follow this track which bends round to the right. Go straight ahead and Metlands Farm is in front of you. As you pull in the drive the cottage is on your right hand side. SatNav YO15 1JG.

Guest access:

The Dairy has 1 car park space next the cottage but access to the door is down two steps. The garden is fully fenced.

Whenever possible the owners will meet you, but if not, there is a key safe on the right where you park.

The Martonian at Sewerby, The Ship Inn at Sewerby. Some others have areas that are allocated for guests with dogs
